Milan, IT / The site is located in the neighborhood of Turro, northeast of Milan, close to the red line metro station. The context presents a dense built environment. The buildings surrounding the site are mainly residential with commercial programs on the street level. The site is located in a large open space in the corner of Via Valtorta and Via Rovetta. The border of the site is characterized by the presence of two residential four-storey buildings with blind facades. The area of the site is equal to 4263,40 m². The programs of the buildings are 45% offices, 5% commercial and 50% affordable housings. The offices are divided in various flexible spaces for rental, while the commercial program contains retail and food service functions. Affordable housings do not have kitchens inside the apartments, as in the bottom floors large collective spaces function as a shared kitchen.
